DJ Selektor Bony. Durchlüften 2025 – Open Air im Schlüterhof. Konzerte, DJ-Sets

In the organizer's words:

Free, outdoors and under palm trees: this summer, the DURCHLÜFTEN music festival will once again transform the Humboldt Forum's large Schlüterhof courtyard into a lively meeting place for sound, rhythm and culture.

Over four weekends, music from all over the world will radiate from the stage: from the raw energy of Mexican cumbia punk to the hypnotic groove of Kenyan dodo blues, from the electrifying syncopation of Congolese soukous to the powerful messages of Afrofuturist big bands.

Japanese folk with a Caribbean influence, soulful jazz, hip-hop and the joy and resilience of the Frafra gospel round off this celebration of sound - boundless, multi-perspective and irresistibly danceable!

DJ Selektor Bony (Mexico, Berlin)

Selektor Bony is a music lover and sound collector, born in Mexico City and raised with Latin American rhythms and the constant roar of airplanes over his neighborhood. His search for new experiences led him to Seville, where he lived for over a decade and caused a stir by organizing the city's first reggae and cumbia parties. Since moving to Berlin in 2014, he has been a central figure in the local Latin music scene and curator of the lively Cumbia Fest, a celebration of Latin American sound culture in the German capital.

As a DJ, Selektor Bony brings people together through movement, spinning a rich mix of Latin American and tropical sounds - from cumbia, funk, boogaloo and cha-cha-cha to the deep echoes of reggae and dub. The result is a musical bridge between times and regions, where traditional rhythms meet modern grooves - an ever-changing, boundless dancefloor experience.
