After long, sold-out and truly celebrated tours across Germany in 2024, the absolutely energetic and likeable musician, singer, rapper and actor will only be playing a few selected shows such as Deichbrand - and Kultursommer Oldenburg - in festival summer 25! 1000 thanks dear all-artist-team - and then put your arms & legs up, dear younger (& older) Oldenburg citizens!

Hartz loves hip-hop, but feels just as comfortable with indie pop. Somewhere in between, he has found his very own voice and his very own style. It is sometimes casual, sometimes light, sometimes self-reflectively ironic - and often very profound.

In his youth, YouTube was his window to the world. Back then, he lived in a small village in Holstein, a green nowhere land; the journey to his first big concert in Hamburg took almost two hours. He is a fan of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, likes Peter Fox and appreciates the relaxed aura of the Fantastischen Vier when it comes to German-language rap.

Then street music in Australia, earning his first hat fees, gaining self-confidence. Because he doubts his technical perfection, he applies to the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts - and is accepted. He learns skills that also benefit him as an unconventional crossover artist between rap and pop.

His housey, breakout hit "Klimpa Klimpa" gets everyone shaking. His current songs combine everyday life with rap culture. Hartz becomes the storyteller of his generation, a true pop poet. Sometimes the beats rattle, sometimes it swings like on vacation. Dominik Hartz stays in the flow with his diverse tracks.
