Following their debut album Nachtblau, with which the band was selected for the renowned newcomer series "Jazz Thing Next Generation", the Dominik Hoyer Band, now expanded to a quintet, is back with fresh compositions and an exciting new program. The band combines jazz, fusion, soul and rock to create a modern, captivating sound that tells stories and evokes emotions. Funky rhythms and sophisticated harmonies merge with catchy melodies and improvisational flights of fancy. The band paints a musical panorama that ranges from gentle ballads to powerful, energetic songs with explosive solos.

The quintet stands for musical diversity, pulsating grooves and a feel for dynamic arcs of tension. The five musicians take their audience on a sonic journey of discovery that will delight jazz purists and genre newcomers alike.
