DONOTS – Schwert aus Holz Tour 2025

"Why are we all standing here with tears in our eyes?" - Composing songs that have a lasting effect on you and your listeners is, in a way, a matter of luck. Writing lyrics that speak to people from the soul is a stroke of luck. And when the two come together, the really moving nuances are created. You can't plan that, at least not for a band like DONOTS.

But "Allein zu allein" (release date 05.03.25) is one such stroke of luck where everything went hand in hand. With their new single, DONOTS are announcing an acoustic tour entitled "Schwert aus Holz", which starts in just eight weeks. Tickets are only available from Friday, 07.03.25, via the band's newsletter, which you can sign up for on the band's website. The non-seated concerts will be opened by HONIG.

The band on their new single: "Even in the early stages of recording, the entire studio staff had a pleasantly thick lump in their throats and various moist eyes - not because Guido was cooking garlic with garlic at the kitchen counter again, but because the really right words meet the perfect feeling set to music - the moment of sudden calm in the first chorus is an example of this.

In addition, the song plays all the trump cards and calling cards of our acoustic record with a crazy ease, which is why it has virtually committed itself to the opener position on "Schwert aus Holz"."
