DON'T CARE! have been a staple of the Braunschweig indie scene since the late 80s. The deep, distinctive voice of frontman Jack Deuce, cool songwriting between punk, alternative, blues and country, black clothes and intense live shows cemented their status.
Guitar-heavy, shred rock that is hard to categorize. They offer excursions into the vocally slightly Peter Hoffmann-heavy realms of a less supple (English-language) German pop, just as they dally with wild cowpunk or cast a languishing eye on the pleasing charms of rhythm & blues.
The name DON'T CARE! can be understood programmatically. With their bumpy, hard, rumbly rock, they penetrate the real depths of life, which you can only understand if you have lived through them. They defy the hard times, sing a song and probably won't stop until the last desperate person has listened to their advice: DON'T CARE!
