Double pack: Reading with Dietlind Falk and Jonny Bauer

One stage, two authors - Dietlind Falk and Jonny Bauer invite you to a bubbly evening of reading in your favorite brewery! The two of them do literature and punk and everything else in between, and on this evening they will talk about tattoo culture and migration, intergenerational conflicts and wine gums, among other things. We'll round off the evening together with a chilled drink. Come and join us!

Dietlind Falk, born in 1985, grew up in the Ruhr area. She works as a freelance translator from English and French and has translated Jakob Guanzon and Octavia E. Butler, among others, into German. Her novel "Das Letzte" (Albino) was published in 2017. She was nominated for the 2024 Ruhr Literature Prize for her second novel "No Regrets" (hanserblau). Dietlind Falk plays in a punk band and lives in Düsseldorf.

Jonny Bauer is an activist. He starts things. And he writes books. His children's and young adult books and novels are published by various publishing houses. He regularly gives readings at the Münchner Bücherschau, lit.cologne, lit.ruhr, Comicsalon Erlangen, among others. Jonny Bauer is a lyricist and singer in the punk band Oiro. He is a passionate moped rider. He is always on the lookout for special stories.
