Since 2004, the Renitenztheater and the German-Turkish Forum Stuttgart have been jointly organizing an intercultural festival and we promise that ŞAKA MAKA will not just be fun, but a German-Turkish cabaret festival.
Laughter knows no boundaries, and now there are no language barriers either!
"5 auf einen Streich" - the groundbreaking comedy formation consisting of five talented artists - brings a revolutionary show to the stage that will make the audience laugh.
With a unique blend of linguistic wit, cultural understanding and a healthy dose of self-irony, the five members of "5 auf einen Streich" offer an incomparable comedy experience. From Berlin to Istanbul, from Cologne to Ankara - this group has the potential to conquer the comedy scene worldwide.
"We are proud to be the only stand-up group in the world to present bilingual stand-up shows," says Fatih Çevikkollu, one of the founders of 5 auf einen Streich. "Our aim is to bring people together regardless of their origin, mother tongue or cultural background and make them laugh together."
From political satire to everyday observations, each show offers a wide range of humor that appeals to audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
"Our mission is to use the power of laughter to build bridges between different cultures and people," explains Sertaç Mutlu, another founding member. "At a time when the world is characterized by so many differences, we firmly believe that humour is a universal language that connects us all."
