Dorian Concept is an Austrian producer and keyboardist known for his unique, beautifully detailed soundscapes and wild, joyful live keyboard jam videos. His work draws on an eclectic variety of sources, including experimental electronic music, jazz, hip-hop, ambient and soundscape music, and his compositions glide through genres with feather-light ease. He has released albums on labels such as Ninja Tune and Brainfeeder and was the touring keyboardist for Flying Lotus. His energetic live shows, in which he plays several synthesizers with virtuosity, are legendary.

Dorian Concept made a career in his early years that is perhaps exemplary for the greatest production talents of his generation: After experimenting with production software, piano and saxophone as a teenager, he studied multimedia arts at university before attracting internet attention with virtuoso video recordings of himself shredding on a microKORG and dropping out of university to pursue music more seriously. Within a few years, he had attracted the attention of icons such as Gilles Peterson, Benji B and Mary Anne Hobbs, released a flood of EPs, performed with the Cinematic Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall, joined the ranks of promising newcomers at the Red Bull Music Academy and was discovered by Flying Lotus and invited to tour with his live band. After finding a home with Ninja Tune, he enjoyed underground success with the release of the album "Joined Ends", dizzyingly intricate singles that did the rounds on experimental dancefloors worldwide, and subsequent live tours from Glastonbury to Sonar to Warm Up at MoMA PS1.
