Dortmund unplugged

In the organizer's words:

"Dortmund Unplugged" is a concert series in Long August that focuses on local artists. Every second Friday of the month, three acts present a 30-minute program with acoustic instruments, their own songs and close proximity to the audience. "Dortmund Unplugged" promotes the diversity and creativity of Dortmund's singer/songwriter scene. It creates a platform for local talents to present themselves and build a close bond between artists and listeners. The series is hosted by Hans Blücher, Boris Gott and a team from Nordmarkt Records and Musiksyndikat Ruhr.

Andy C., Matilda Eyre and Chasing Grace will perform on 13.06.2025.

Andy C. is a singer-songwriter with a guitar who oscillates between melancholy and joie de vivre in his German-language songs - sometimes pensive, sometimes tongue-in-cheek. His music ranges from poetic ballads to rock songs with attitude.

Matilda Eyre is an indie pop singer & producer. Her music is characterized by electronic beats, complex soundscapes, intricate melodies and captivating storytelling. After 10 years in London, she now lives back in her hometown of Dortmund, where she gives new impetus to the local cultural scene and continues to develop her musical vision.

Chasing Grace is a modern folk band. Their sound is characterized by melancholic elements and catchy melodies based on groovy accompaniment passages. In their lyrics, they tell stories that take their listeners on a journey.

Special guest: Mr. Schnorres and his spelling mistake with a short version of the lyrics: "What should the neighbors think?"
