"Dortmund Unplugged" is a concert series in Long August that focuses on local artists. Every second Friday of the month, three acts present a 30-minute program with acoustic instruments, their own songs and close proximity to the audience. "Dortmund Unplugged" promotes the diversity and creativity of Dortmund's singer/songwriter scene. It creates a platform for local talents to present themselves and build a close bond between artists and listeners. The series is hosted by Hans Blücher, Boris Gott and a team from Nordmarkt Records and Musiksyndikat Ruhr.
"Kalle Moosherr", "Pamela Ydígoras" and "Rich Kid Rebellion" will perform on 14.03.2025.
The Kalle Moosherr Experience is the tongue-in-cheek "biggest rock band in the world". Kalle Moosherr and cajon player Sebastian Grzybek inspire live with handmade German-language songs. Their repertoire includes everyday topics such as the pub song "Hier an der Theke", "Freibadpommes" or the bittersweet "Ladenwohnung".
Pamela Ydígoras combines activism and creativity with passionate music in her work. The Chilean singer-songwriter and multidisciplinary artist sings about the feelings that make the soul and skin vibrate. Because in an increasingly harsh world, empathy and compassion are becoming more and more important.
Rich Kid Rebellion: For many years, Dortmund-based singer/songwriter Swen O. Heiland has been synonymous with good-humored, melodic guitar pop with a harder edge here and there. With a wink and a good dose of charm, the resourceful musician presents a colorful mix of tracks from his rich collection.
