"Dortmund Unplugged" is a concert series in Long August that focuses on local artists. Every second Friday of the month, three acts present a 30-minute program with acoustic instruments, their own songs and close proximity to the audience. "Dortmund Unplugged" promotes the diversity and creativity of Dortmund's singer/songwriter scene. It creates a platform for local talents to present themselves and build a close bond between artists and listeners. The series is hosted by Hans Blücher, Boris Gott and a team from Nordmarkt Records and Musiksyndikat Ruhr.
"Chilek", "Kleo" and "Bigo Seinz" will perform on 11.04.2025.
CHILEK likes to open itself up to new musical influences and impulses. This promises variety and always fresh listening pleasure. "Staying flexible and changeable - that's what matters to us," say band members Matthias Hecht and Lars Wege, promising a pleasant contrast to the mainstream.
KLEO is a talented musician whose songs are deeply filled with emotion and sincerity. She is not afraid to be herself and openly express her feelings through music. Inspired by life and people - with unique lyrics and a strong message. She sings in Russian and Ukrainian.
BIGO SEINZ from Dortmund dedicated herself to music early on - thanks to indie pop and Hamburg school. His portfolio now includes numerous band and solo projects in which he continues to develop. All in all, however, he likes to stick to his beginnings as a singer/songwriter.
