poker player, style icon, pianist, city boy and man of nature ... all united in one person.
After the roots-Americana album Born To Win Born To Lose (2021), the sixth album, a real pop record, was released on Valentine's Day 2024: Where Did All The Cool Kids Go? With the hits This World Is Our Home and Nothing To Lose. The album, written with Stijn Van Dalen and producer Gordon Groothedde, is about love in the broadest sense of the word. About feeling at home on this earth, being happy in this world and with the people you love.

Douwe Bob won the first edition of "The Best Singer-Songwriter of the Netherlands" in 2012, represented the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 and was awarded twice with a 3FM Award, a BUMA Award and three times with an Edison. In 2023 he celebrated his 10th anniversary and was featured in the television program De Beste Zangers.
