Two highlights at the end of the MdzM: The pianists Kaja Draksler and Eve Risser, both with strong characters, celebrate their instruments on two grand pianos with dedication and full of the joy of discovery. And the icon of free music Fred Frith combines his duos with the master improvisers Lotte Anker and Núria Andorrà in the new, congenial trio Frelonia to unleash unimagined musical energies.
