In the organizer's words:

A THEATRICAL SURVEY OF THE DISTRICT

In the Mülheim district of Cologne, life takes place on the street. Children and young people meet outside and look for their favorite places such as parking lots or backyards. But these places are not actually planned for them. Why have their needs not been taken into account in urban planning? If they were included in the planning, would the district look different?

The artistic team from "Draußen" will be investigating these questions together with children and young people from the Veedel for a year. The research will ultimately lead to the creation of new spaces in existing locations by and for young people - including a performance!
