Dreams of 75

In the organizer's words:

NEW DINGO PROJECT "DREAMS OF 75"

A multimedia homage to the 70s
In 2025, the Dingo music theater, which has been in existence since 1978, presents its unusual new project: The production entitled "Dreams of 75" deals with the music and attitude to life of the 70s of the last century! 50 years later, Dingo approaches this period with a multimedia project that combines film, reportage, theater, photography, painting, spatial sound and live music.
The sound source material are melodies written by Lothar Jahn in 1975 and later refined on his single "February 75" (Sound Records, Cologne, 1977) and the album "Dreams of 75" (Lion Productions, Illinois, 2022). The production was developed by Peter Will and Lothar Jahn, who met in 1975. In the same year, they wrote the rock opera "Dingo", which laid the foundation for the Dingo musical theater. The two developed the stage production together with Dagmar Jahn.
In addition to their own music full of allusions to the popular music of the time, there is also a tribute to the folk rock band "Ougenweide", which had its heyday in the seventies. Almost a dozen actors are involved; the Hofgeismar artist Christine Müller developed a picture based on the music especially for the project and filmed the creation process.
