Drehscheibenkurs: Dosen mit Deckel – an der Drehscheibe hergestellt

Tins, small containers with lids, were luxury items that were given as gifts until the 19th century. They were decorative objects or used to store particularly valuable items such as sweets, jewelry, tobacco or money.

In this course, you will learn how to make the container and the matching lid on the wheel. The shape of the tins is up to you.
At the same time, we will show you how to decorate the tins with engobe (colored liquid clay).
So you create handmade, individually designed tins for luxury items! For yourself or as a gift for loved ones.

For this course you should be able to center 500 grams of clay on the wheel. A little experience is therefore necessary.
