Three-day summer festival at the Kumpeltreff / Zeche Holland & two-day flea market!
Dear Wattenscheider, friends and new guests!
Summer is here and we cordially invite you to our second summer festival under the winding tower of the Holland colliery! This time over 3 days! From August 1 to 3, 2025, the grounds of the Holland Colliery in Bochum will be transformed into a lively festival mile full of joy, music, artists and culinary delights. Admission is free!
Date: August 01 - 03, 2025
Time: Friday 17-22 h I Saturday 11-22 h I Sunday 11-17 h

Enjoy a varied stage program with music and entertainment for young and old. At the same time, our artists' market will be taking place, where you can admire the works of talented artists and purchase unique handicrafts. A perfect opportunity to find special gifts or reward yourself!
We have prepared a colorful program for our youngest guests. Bouncy castles, play stations and a photo box ensure exuberant fun and lasting memories.
Of course, delicious food is a must! Look forward to freshly grilled bratwurst, refreshing drinks and many other delicacies. Our Kumpeltreff team will make sure that you are well looked after and can enjoy the day to the full.
The summer festival is the ideal opportunity to meet friends and have a great time together. There are cozy seating areas all over the grounds, inviting you to linger and chat. Enjoy the sun and let your mind wander!

But that's not all! Our popular flea market takes place on Saturday and Sunday - this time over two days! From the Kumpeltreff to the Alte Lohnhalle, you can discover treasures from days gone by and enjoy the unique flair.
There will be well over 120 exhibitors on site and, in addition to arts and crafts, there will only be private jumbling, no trade!

Our flea market at the Alte Lohnhalle Wattenscheid and the Kumpeltreff by Knepper Management is a paradise for junk fans and bargain hunters. In the summer edition, we open the area at the Kumpeltreff of the Zeche Holland for creative and artisans. The rest of the area remains open for purely private sales. Since the first flea market in February 2020, our market has become a popular place to go. Admission remains free for all visitors.
Come along and experience an unforgettable day under the winding tower of the Holland colliery! We look forward to seeing you!
