Enter a magical world in which the smallest building blocks of the universe become the biggest stars and perform their amazing feats: Quanta! Here, the rules of everyday life are turned upside down - particles can dance in several places at the same time, be connected over huge distances and constantly pose new puzzles for us.

What sounds like magic is actually full of science.

The secrets of the quantum have already produced miracles such as smartphones, microwaves and UV nail polish. And tomorrow?

Lightning-fast quantum computers, unbreakable communication encryption and even mind-controlled prostheses could become reality.

In the Quantum Circus, you will develop creative ideas for a world in which quanta play an important role.

In the three-day vacation workshop, which takes place from August 13 to 15, you will explore the phenomena of the quantum world together with other young people, talk to a real futurologist and develop your own quantum object of the future.

The vacation workshop is aimed at young peopleaged 12and over.

The vacation workshop is part of the "Quantum Career" research project, which is funded as part of the BMFTR funding line "Quantum aktiv - intuitive outreach concepts for quantum technologies". The aim is to create low-threshold and action-based access to quantum technologies and to arouse interest in the associated professional fields.
