Drölf Jahre Stockholm Syndrom mit Chefdenker

The Wiesbaden trio STOCKHOLM SYNDROM is turning twelve years old. At last! This absolutely round birthday must of course be celebrated extensively, and for this the budding early-retirement punks have invited a few special guests, namely KOMMANDO SCHIMMELKOTZE from Darmstadt and CHEFDENKER. Chefdenker? Exactly them!

CHEFDENKER were founded in 2002 and since then have been as stable as the euro cash that was introduced at the same time. Concept albums are released at irregular intervals, although the concept has always been the same for over 20 years: each record has 19 songs, one of which is sung by Guido vom Flockenberg.

While many artists go their own way, Chefdenker simply don't go any way at all. This is because the law of conservation of energy also applies here: "In a closed system, all mechanical energy is conserved if there is no friction. The different forms of energy can only transform into each other." Translated, this means Chefdenker's energy-saving foxes are sometimes "rock'n'roll" punk, sometimes "old man rock" punk, other times (...insert any determinant here) punk - depending on which way the wind is blowing.

KOMMANDO SCHIMMELKOTZE play unpolished, direct German punk. Their lyrics are a mixture of social and patriarchal criticism and a dose of self-irony. Just what you would expect when a band bears the name "Schimmelkotze". Anyone looking for pure, unfiltered rage punk will find their calling here. For everyone else: It's loud.
