In the organizer's words:

Summer is our favorite season: sunshine, anticipation of the vacations, a festive mood and the colorful DSCHUNGELPALAST SOMMERFEST for young and old. It starts at 12 noon and our visitors can expect a varied program. Enjoy the beer garden and the cultural program on the outdoor stage. You can go on a journey of discovery across the Feierwerk grounds in the exciting jungle rally, visit the various creative workshops, do handicrafts, work and design. You can also take part in our magic show for young and old and sing and dance along to "Andi and the Monkey Gang". Come and celebrate with us - we look forward to seeing you!

To avoid having to cancel the summer party in bad weather, part of the program will be moved to the Feierwerk building in case of rain.

From 12:00 noon: Relaxing with a cultural program

BEER GARDEN

In addition to snacks and drinks, a varied cultural program for children and adults will be offered in and around our beer garden.

12:00 - 18:00: Snipping workshop for children aged 3 and over

DSCHUNGELTIERE, material costs: 0 - 2 Euro

Our youngest visitors get their money's worth in the snipping workshop. Coloring pictures, masks and craft kits on the theme of jungle animals, funny cardboard roll monkeys, elephant and lion figures await you here.

12:00 - 18:00: Craft workshop for children aged 4 and over

DSCHUNGELWELT, material costs: 2 - 4 euros

Our jungle world is a colorful place. A colorful toucan wind chime, a small pink clay pot flamingo, a chip box with a dazzling hummingbird and special hair ornaments with colorful flowers and a magnificent parrot await you here.

JUNGLE RALLY

Who's sneaking through the jungle? There's plenty for you to explore in our exciting jungle rally. Look out for the jungle animals and solve the tricky puzzles. All hard-working jungle explorers can expect lots of fun as well as a little surprise.

GLITTER-TATTOOS, material costs 50 cents per piece

At our tattoo stand you can have the most beautiful glitter tattoos painted on - pain-free, guaranteed.

12:00 - 18:00: Workshop for children from 4 years & adults

WOODWORKSHOP, material costs: 1 - 5 euros

In the wood workshop, you can try your hand at sawing leaves and cut out and paint the most beautiful jungle animals from plywood boards. Build funny toys such as a jumping monkey and a jumping sloth or design mini spinning tops that you can paint and decorate according to your own ideas.

12:00 - 18:00: Studio workshops for children from 4 years & adults

COLOR PLAY, material costs 1.50 - 6 euros

Silk paints can be used to create beautiful window pictures on silk-covered frames. Let yourself be inspired by our jungle animals. Small cotton bags can be individually designed with fabric paints and filled with absorbent cotton and lavender flowers to turn them into scented bags.

CROCHET WORKSHOP, material costs: 1.50 - 3.50 euros

In the crochet workshop you can learn how to crochet chains. You can then use these to add the finishing touches to pre-made crocheted figures.

BRAIDING WITH PEDDIGUBE, material costs: 5 - 8 euros

Weaving cane into art objects is an ancient craft that requires hardly any materials other than your hands and the weaving material. Today you have the opportunity to weave small baskets from cane under expert guidance.

12:30 - 14:00: Live music on the outdoor stage

WELFARE BROTHERS

As an acoustic duet, Derek Singleton (git, voc) and Ludwig Klöckner (b, voc) alias Welfare Bros. have enormous fun reinterpreting the songs of their heroes in their own special way. The songs come from great artists such as "The Band", Joe Jackson, Bruce Springsteen and Hank Williams. That's quite a range: from foot-stomping rockers to ballads and from protest anthems to thoughtful country songs. It's amazing how much energy can be released and how much music can be made with just two guitars and two voices.

14:45 - 15:30: Magic show on the outdoor stage

ZAUBERER ARCATO presents

Fun, excitement, magic and good humor! Hokuspokus Fidibus - be enchanted by the magician Arcato! In the show by magician Arcato, the children are the center of attention and can even become little magicians themselves, because they have to help magician Arcato to make the magic tricks work - so it's time to join in!

ANDI AND THE MONKEY GANG

The Augsburg children's music band "Andi und die Affenbande" combines music, theater and hands-on activities into a colorful concert experience at their action-packed, fun-filled concerts

Whether it's ghosts in the nursery, wiggly teeth or the castle on the beach - the Affenbande's lyrics and melodies touch on what moves children and parents. Because "Andi und die Affenbande" know the life that revolves around grandpas, fairgrounds and favorite ice cream. The children are not just listeners: they can sing, dance and play along. The sound is groovy, the lyrics imaginative and cheeky - even the parents rock along.
