Don’t Be Scared is an interactive clown show about being scared of the dark. For what is the function of comedy if not to bring light in the dark? Together with the audience, Stacey and Unter Günther explore the allure and danger of fear through a collage of song, poetry, and epic dance numbers, uncovering their own innermost fears and memories along the way. By teetering on the edge of innocence, sanity, friendship, and humor, they explore a new form of clown, the antithesis of the happy-go-lucky colorful archetype that scares everyone anyway.
