In the organizer's words:
Organized by the Forum Urbane Tanzkunst e.V., the square in front of the Düsseldorf Schauspielhaus is transformed into a pulsating dance floor. In just one evening, it goes from the preliminary rounds to the grand finale - condensed, intense, electrifying.
The preselection of dancers in three categoriesstarts at 4:30 pm:
Hip-Hop (1 vs. 1), Freestyle Junior (1 vs. 1) and Breaking (2 vs. 2, open age).
The Juniors will open the eveningfrom 7 pm, followed by the battles in the other categories - live and directly in front of our jury of several judges. Energy, technique and presence will decide who makes it to the final. When the grandstand shakes, it's clear: this is where the city dances.

Take part - registration
All dancers who want to take part in the battle can register online here. On-site registration is only possible if there are still places available. Registration in advance is highly recommended. The registration deadline is June 19. This time there will be a 1 vs. 1 Hip-Hop Battle (from 16 years) and a 1 vs. 1 Junior Freestyle Battle (12 to 17 years) as well as a 2 vs. 2 Breaking (no age restrictions) Battle. You can register for all categories using the form.
