Singer-songwriter Sophie Atlas touches audiences with his extraordinary voice, self-written lyrics and sensitive compositions. His main concern is to make trans people more visible and give them a voice - which also means empowering queer teenagers. Empowerment, in other words!

In their joint project Balance, Sophie Atlas and guitar virtuoso Wolfgang Stute demonstrate the unifying power of music by creating acceptance and education for the queer community. The interplay of Atlas' unusually fine, multi-colored voice and Stute's varied instrumentation creates an atmosphere that resonates with listeners for a long time.

Wolfgang Stute is a guitarist, percussionist, composer and music producer, and has also been musical director at several theaters. He has performed at the DAI in various formats with the author Paul Maar.

Sophie Atlas, 19 years old, is a non-binary trans singer, composer and songwriter who addresses the challenges of trans people in his songs. He has been playing the keyboard since the age of eight and is currently studying at Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA.
