J U N I O R D R E A D

Born and raised on the outskirts of the northern part of São Paulo, Junior Dread is one of the main names in national reggae music in Brazil and is increasingly gaining space in the international market.
In 15 years of career, he has already accumulated hundreds of presentations in the main states of Brazil "alongside big names in Brazilian and world music and since 2008" he has performed in several countries on tours in Japan, the United States, France, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Costa Rica, Spain, Czech Republic, Scotland, Portugal and Mexico.
His first official album "Saiba Viver" was co-produced by Junior Marvin, Bob Marley's guitarist. Now he is working on a new album during a tour in Brazil.

Thanks to the partnership with Guidance Production and Ina Di Sound (Sound System), it is after three years without performing in Europe that the singer Junior Dread returned for 2 tours in 2023 and 2024 where he performed in Poland, Belgium but also in the Czech Republic, Italy, Switzerland (with O.B.F Sound System), and the Netherlands (with King Shiloh Sound System), as well as at the "Rototom Sunsplash Festival" in Spain and "No Logo BZH" among others...

J A H C H A L I C E S O A N D S Y S T E M

Jah Chalice Soundsystem was formed in 2007 in Freising, a little town near Munich Germany. Inspired by Jah Music and Soundsystems like Kibish Tribe, Dandelion, Jah Free and Jah Roots, we decided to play music in an original soundsystem style, which means to play on handcrafted boxes and with live mixing equipment as a self-made preamp, sirens, effect units and a theremin. We are literally taking the music back to the studio during a session so we can mix it live to ensure we can react realtime on all vibes. For a soundsystem it is very important to make the crowd feel the music, that is the reason why we started to build our own boxes, to make sure lower frequency will not only be heard but felt in a new way and to guarantee a unique sound. Jah Chalice live events are created to be a whole body experience so we bring our own mixing equipment, PA, visuals & decoration. The music we play goes from Roots, Dub, Steppersdub on to pre-releases and own productions. Our crew consists of Idren G (selector), Yohannes Chalice (operator), Lukas (micman & visuals), Ras Facility (boxlifter & light) and our singer I-Sayah who joined Jah Chalice in summer 2009. But without the large supportive family behind Jah Chalice we could not put our events into practice. Some of which are Bredda Boost, Tonja & Ayana Rooz. For a live show we work close together with singers like: MC Timwe, Jone C Fyah, Shatterhand, Amando Atodos, Saralène and Ras Free. In 2017 we established our own Record Label which is called "JAH CHALICE RECORDS", releasing and promoting heavyweight Dub Productions from southern Germany.

Y A H Y O K A

Yahyoka from Nuremberg made her debut on the turntables five years ago thanks to her soundsystem passion and love of dancing. With the same enthusiasm for the mountains and wilderness, her sound takes us on a journey full of indigenous sounds, spherical melodies and deep, warm bass. Each set is an expression of their emotions and their love of nature. The selection of dub, grime and quivering dubstep creates a bass adventure for the ears and soul.
