Duckwrth creates a genre-defying hip-hop sound that he amalgamates with elements of alternative, rock and R&B. His fearless approach to songwriting and sound sets new standards in terms of modernity, which he already proved in 2018 with his single "Start a Riot" featuring Shaboozey. The track became part of the "Spider Man: Into The Spiderverse" soundtrack and made him famous worldwide. Duckwrth was also introduced to a large audience as support on Billie Eilish's When We All Fall Asleep World Tour and her Happier Than Ever Tour. In addition, "Kiss U Right Now" and "Super Bounce" from his major label debut "SuperGood" (2020) stand out alongside "Crush" and "ICHUUL." as top tracks from the artist, who released his new album "All AmericanF⭐️ckBoy" on April 2nd. Music has played a major role in Jared Leonardo Lee's life since his childhood. In 2012 and 2014, the Californian released self-released mixtapes under his stage name Duckwrth, which brought him his first attention and led to his signing with Them Hellas, where he released his mixtape "Nowhere" with The Kickdrums in 2015. Since then, the artist has continued to develop his sound. Right at the beginning of this development, the rapper and singer already showed elements of modern hip-hop, which he mixed with R&B influences in 2016 and further consolidated on his debut album "I'M UUGLY" . With "MICHUUL." from his "an XTRA UUGLY Mixtape", he scored another hit in 2017, which, in addition to his artistic development, led to a signing with Republic Records. He released his second album "SuperGood" via the label, which saw the artist break all his previous records. This was followed in 2021 by two EPs, "SG8*" and "Chrome Bull", on which the musician dedicated himself to soundscapes and dance music. Since then, Duckwrth has continued to work on his genre-busting sound, which has matured over the years with various influences.
