What can you experience in 25 years... and how can you summarize it in a few sentences?

If you look 25 years into the future, it's an eternity. If you look back into the past, it somehow feels like yesterday. New Year's Eve 1999 / 2000 was no exception. The world stood still for a brief moment. Nobody knew, or thought they knew, whether it would all be over in a moment. Would the computer clocks keep up with the new millennium? Would there be a blackout?

It was precisely at this moment that something was born in Osnabrück that has lost none of its driving and furious power 400 concerts later: duesenjaeger!

Punk, emo-punk or post-punk with German lyrics - call it what you like. E minor. C major. Never surrender.

25 years of duesenjaeger ...this institution is worth celebrating.
