Duo Hadassa & Eva Kuhn - zeitgelöst

In the organizer's words:

Disconnect, exhale and forget time for a moment - "zeitgelöst" is a concert concept that dissolves the boundaries between music and space and places the traditional instruments zither and hammered dulcimer in the context of new music. The musicians act as part of the space by understanding it as an extended resonating body and moving performatively within it.

Three commissioned compositions by Eva Kuhn, Abigél Varga and Leon Zmelty will be performed. Works by Torbjørn H. Arnesen, Dorothea Hofmann and Peter Kiesewetter, among others, will also be performed.

The trio received the 2024 Music Scholarship from the City of Munich for "zeitgelöst" and will present a concert series at Kultursommer Rheinland-Pfalz 2025.
