Duo Martin Sasse - Sabine Kühlich

Martin Sasse, whom the magazine "Jazzthing" praised for his "extremely swinging and melodious playing ... his own style, which is characterized by timeless elegance and a wealth of ideas", has been Professor of Jazz Piano and Jazz Composition at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen since 2024. In addition to his concert and teaching activities, he is co-founder of the label "JazzJazz Records", artistic director of the Cologne jazz club "King Georg" and "Yamaha Artist".

Sabine Kühlich convinces with magic and innovation, is creative and expressive, one of the absolutely outstanding German jazz singers. "She sings unrestrained, courageous and sexy. And with a naturalness, as if she had absorbed the American, traditional form of jazz with her mother's milk." (3sat). She sings, composes, writes lyrics on the piano and plays a passionate bossa nova saxophone.
