DUO:DONNERSTAG mit Enis Maci und Smile - Literatur & Lautes im PACT-Foyer

Duo:Do is your after-work time with PACT! As part of this new series, we invite you to a reading and concert in the foyer on selected Thursdays. With drinks at the bar, inspiring texts and electrifying sounds, Thursdays already feel a bit like the weekend. The second round features Gelsenkirchen-born essayist and playwright Enis Maci and the band SMILE from Cologne.

Enis Maci has won several awards for her plays and essays. At PACT, she will read from her latest novel 'Pando', which she co-wrote with Pascal Richmann. In it, they talk about places that inscribe themselves in your memory long before you set foot in them.

SMILE demonstrate time and again that post-punk can still sound refreshing: They remain experimental and headstrong. The subtle observations of US singer Rubee True Fegan merge with innovative, sensual guitar music.
