The second festival concert belongs to the duo Don Ross and Julie Malia aka Jule Malischke, the former a globally successful fingerstylist for 30 years, the latter currently active on several continents. Together they create a sound of unknown sonic dimensions.

Don Ross lives in Nova Scotia (Canada) and has been touring the world's stages for over 30 years as an "innovator" of the fingerstyle guitar. As a soloist or team player, as a musician, arranger or composer - his music tells stories that are both deeply moving and technically brilliant. He combines his unshakeable groove with modern (poly)rhythmic elements, percussive techniques are combined with delicate melodies to create unique, moving soundscapes.

Julie Malia (AKA Jule Malischke) As one of the most versatile artists on the current guitar scene, she masters the most diverse facets of the acoustic guitar. She effortlessly builds bridges between classical and jazz, between instrumental and vocal music, between earthy groove and heavenly spherical sounds. In a duo with Don Ross, two individuals full of character find a sound that takes us listeners into previously unknown sonic dimensions.
