DWNS#62: Figur Lemur + Paavo + Fabio D‘Ambrosio

Our next concert is already in the starting blocks. On 26.04. the 62nd show of our concert series "die wollen nur spielen" will take place. The following acts will be performing:

Figur Lemur: Pop - but not routine. Mainstream - but not arbitrary. Figur Lemur from Bochum create music with attitude. Timeless beats, complex sounds, energetic lyrics and people don't stand still. No dull, sing-along music, no cerebral philosopher rap, but something in between. Something that carries you away, but also positions itself. Figur Lemur stand for handmade pop music with a healthy dose of nerdiness and for consistent pop music that effortlessly mediates between different genres. For German-language lyrics with attitude, straight from their mid-twenties generation.

Paavo: Plagued by sleepless nights between gentle melancholy and covetous longing, paavo tells his own stories. It is the bleak dreariness of the Ruhr area, between loneliness and security, which merges with the rough aesthetics of his past as a post hardcore singer and gives his music its form. The unique blend of powerful, dynamic sound, unpolished beats, his impressive, multi-faceted voice and poignant lyrics make paavo an artist to keep an eye on.

Fabio D'Ambrosio is a 22-year-old musician from Münster who combines alternative rock with jazzy elements. His music moves through various genres while always maintaining a clear common thread. As a singer-songwriter, he often produces his music himself and relies on a mixture of intimate, acoustic moments and powerful rock elements. This mixture of personal expression and experimental sound makes his music versatile and exciting without losing its authenticity.
