DŸSE is not a band. DŸSE is a hurricane. Since their formation in 2003, Jarii van Gohl (drums, vocals) and Andrej Dietrich (guitar, vocals) have been destroying stages and listening habits with a furious mixture of noise rock, punk, performance art and Dadaist humor.
What at first glance appears to be a minimalist duo unfolds a brute energy live - precise, loud, unpredictable. Always authentic, innovative and highly energetic, DŸSE do not meet any standards, but grow far beyond them. This is appreciated not only by fans, but also by many bands such as Heaven Shall Burn, Deichkind, Die Ärzte, Kraftklub and many more, with whom many songs and entire albums have been created in collaboration.
DŸSE balances on the border between chaos and control. With fat guitar riffs, monster drum grooves and lyrics that oscillate between language play, madness and poetry, they have earned themselves a firm place in the European music scene. Tours through over 25 countries, festival appearances (including Fusion, Full Force, Ärztivals) and 80% sold-out shows in recent years are proof of this: DŸSE is far more than just a concert - DŸSE is an experience.
