Earth Day: Solar-Infotag

The motto of this year's Earth Day on April 22 refers to the commitment of each and every individual to protect our planet. Everyone is asked to be part of the change and to incorporate sustainable action into their everyday routines.

The R's Rethink, Refuse, Reduce, Release, Reuse, Repair, Removeand Recycleare what everyone can contribute to climate protection.

The Mohr-Villa will address these eight R's in the days surrounding Earth Day (April 21 to 28, 2025) and provide information in a social media campaign as well as tips on how everyone can take action.

Anyone interested in taking part in the energy transition and thinking about switching to solar energy (rethink) can talk to specialists from Solar 2030.

All the necessary PV components of a balcony power plant will be available as demonstration material to touch and examine. Various PV panels (in glass design and in lightweight construction on laminated plastic) will also be on display for direct comparison. What's happening: What are the advantages and disadvantages of the different types of modules? What are bifacial solar modules? Is an electrical storage system worthwhile for a balcony power plant? Which storage systems are available and what should you look out for?

Under the motto REUSE (=reuse), SOLAR2030 is also providing information on the reuse of used solar panels with the support of "Panelretter". Interested parties can obtain expertise and information material on the solar panel recycling process.
