Welcome to Darknoon, where siblings Apolline and Pablo escape their dreary everyday lives in a small harbor town in Normandy and become heroes. In the fantastic worlds of the game, they fight side by side against evil with glowing swords. Hour after hour, day after day. Until the provider announces that the computer game will soon be shut down, forever. The fantastic is now replaced by a dangerous void, from which a love grows, but also the search for the next rush.

Join us on this intoxicating journey created by French directing duo Caroline Poggi and Jonathan Vinel. Somewhere between the virtual world and the dark street fights in Le Havre. Afterwards, we will talk to a young filmmaker from Paris about up-and-coming artists on the French film scene over free drinks from Kessler Sekt and Schwaben Bräu.

We will be showing EAT THE NIGHT in the original French language with German subtitles.
