Cassette tapes have played a pivotal role in North African musical and cultural history, serving as a medium for preserving and sharing the region’s rich and diverse musical traditions. Omar Zyami a tape jockey and a cassette collector will present an info stand that explores this phenomenon and examines how cassettes contributed to the democratization of music production and distribution. The stand will be accompanied by a two-hour music set.Location
