EcoHopper Festival 2025 – green lifestyle days

In the organizer's words:

Green lifestyle out of passion. No glue, just pure enthusiasm! From May 9 to 11, 2025, the EcoHopper Festival in Cologne is all about delicious food that has much more to offer than just great taste. Innovative producers, retailers and restaurateurs will show how regionality, seasonality and organic farming can go together. Creative minds will be on hand - from vegan bodybuilder Patrik Baboumian to Janna Schilliinger, who combines fun and mindfulness with ice bathing, to UN ambassador for creativity Maren Baermann.

On Friday evening , we start with drinks and culinary delights at the Stadtgarten from 5 pm. The food market offers enjoyment for all foodies and is also open on Saturday (12-22 hrs) and Sunday (12-18 hrs).

You can eat, drink and shop at:

• Lauriz (pasta from Pulheim)
• BioGourmetClub (vegan specialties)
• Friedrichs die Metzgerei (meat and sausages from the region)
• Keimling (micro greens from Cologne)
• greek farm (honey and herbs from Greek cooperatives)
• abgefüllt (wine in returnable bottles)
• Markstschwärmerei (specialties from the region)
• Stadt Land Gemüse (fruit and vegetables from the region)
• Hennes Finest (direct trade pepper from Cambodia)
• Köllektiv (specialties from the region)
• Oswaldo (hand-forged knives from Solingen).

From there, you can also swarm out to workshops, talks and exhibitions on Saturday between 1 and 6:30 pm . At seven locations in the city center, we will be talking about nutrition, impact start-ups, celebrations, education, travel, fashion, mindfulness, culture and inclusion.

Because there is so much on offer, we will summarize everything again in a poetry slam from 18:45 in the green room of the Stadtgarten. Afterwards, we will exchange ideas at the get-together.

OnSunday , there will be a scavenger hunt for nature projects in the city on Family Day . Let's discover together how we can enjoy shaping the future!

Price information:

A ticket is only required for the lecture and workshop program on Saturday. The events on Friday and Sunday as well as the market are free of charge. Normal tickets are available for 10 euros and goodie bag tickets for 25 euros. The goodie bags are gym bags sewn in the fashion workshop at Ossendorf Prison. Each piece is unique! The bags are filled with all kinds of delicacies and interesting facts, such as a climaid spritzer, chewing gum from Forrest Gum and much more.
