Eefje de Visser's hypnotic alternative pop explores what drives people, what separates them and what brings them together. Her album "Bitterzoet" captivated both fans and the music press and was voted the best album of 2020 by Dutch music magazine Oor - the first Dutch album ever to do so. And it wasn't just the album that was showered with praise and awards: The accompanying tour also created a buzz. 3voor12 commented: "'Bitterzoet' is one of the best Dutch albums ever recorded. And the accompanying show is obviously also groundbreaking, stunningly beautiful and unparalleled."
Eefje de Visser's music transports us to a surreal, dreamlike and nostalgic world that is always carried by a certain hope. Both musically and visually, she creates an incomparable warmth in which we can wrap ourselves up and forget the world for a moment. And Eefje de Visser's journey continues: after the success of "Bitterzoet", she retreated to the studio and recorded intimate songs that she had written during her tours, the pandemic, her pregnancy and the early days of motherhood. In the resulting songs, she shows herself to her audience more powerfully and authentically than ever before - as an uncompromising songwriter who translates her inner world into timeless, elegant and touching lyrics and melodies. The result was the album "Heimwee", which was released on September 13. Fans in Germany can experience "Heimwee" up close at two concerts in Germany next year.

Having grown up in Düsseldorf, Mali now lives in Amsterdam and studies at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. There she is working on her debut EP "Paradox" - a collection of songs about clarity and chaos, closeness and doubt. In her words: "Paradox is what I'm calling home."
