EFTERKLANG: THE MAKEDONIUM BAND

In the organizer's words:

You're coming to Skopje. Your're staying in MKC. You're working with a few, one, two Macedonian, local artists, yeah? For six, seven days here in MKC. We go in the city, to the old bazar, we go on the mountain - and on 30th of April we're doing this show in front of Makedonium." The three experimental Danish musicians had hardly planned anything when they landed in the North Macedonian capital Skopje. With great curiosity and openness, they explore the North Macedonian musical tradition together with local musicians, play, rehearse and have fun - right up to the captivating concert in front of the famous Freedom Monument Makedonium. Biography

Andreas Johnson is a self-taught filmmaker who produces and finances his own films from start to finish. He focuses on social issues and differences in the world. His films have been shown at many festivals worldwide.
