Welcome to Yamanote, where Bremen's charm meets Tokyo's urban hustle and bustle. Eggs are sentient and live among humans. But as chicken children, they are treated like second-class citizens. The eggs fight for more rights and even autonomy ... the egg rights movement is in full swing!

Momo is the first humanized egg. Held captive in a laboratory since birth, he is freed by an egg activist group. His backstory inspires the egg world and he soon becomes a key figure in the egg rights movement. But power and politics are not for the faint-hearted. When he is recaptured by his former captors, scientists Ketsu and Anna, he learns the truth about his origins, which are deeply rooted in immigrant trauma and queer longing.

"Egg War - Animation Performance" is a queer-feminist show with musical and comedic elements that addresses the absurd challenges and ongoing struggles that immigrants and queers face in contemporary life. Using eggs as symbols of fragility and new life, the play explores themes of power dismantling, activism and sexual desire.
