In the organizer's words:

A dramatic reading from Jens Söring's book about life in US prisons, as well as an open question and answer session about the Haysom murder case, for which he spent 33 years behind bars.

The first half of the evening will focus on the brutal everyday life in US maximum security prisons, as described by Jens Söring in his book "A Day in the Life of 179212". For three years he was under threat of the death penalty, throughout the first decade of his imprisonment he was in constant danger of being raped by other prisoners, and so on.

The second half of the evening consists of an open Q&A session on the Haysom murder case and the Netflix series "The Jens Söring Case: Deadly PassionÄ. Jens Söring answers all questions from the audience, which is usually the highlight of the evening. Afterwards, he signs books and, if desired, takes selfies.
