A case for Father Brown
Crime comedy by Jan Bodinus and Florian Battermann.
After Father Brown solves a bank robbery in Brighton, he is once again reassigned by his bishop, who doesn't appreciate these worldly adventures at all. He now takes over the parish on the Isle of Man. But no sooner have Father Brown and his housekeeper Mrs. Miller moved into the old rectory than the most remarkable things begin to happen:
On their very first day on the island, the housekeeper is nearly killed by a falling object near the church tower, and Father Brown accidentally discovers an old secret passageway in his house. When the sexton is found stabbed to death shortly afterwards, the agile Father is unstoppable and sets about solving the mysterious case in a humorous way, always one step ahead of the helpless Inspector Slack.

Father Brown, the clergyman with a penchant for the underworld, is known and loved throughout Germany, at the latest after the unique film adaptations with Heinz Rühmann. It's high time he finally investigated the Luegallee!
