A young Swede comes under suspicion of terrorism on the Côte d'Azur. He is taken to a prison in Paris, where human rights seem to be suspended. With "Ein höheres Ziel" (Polar Verlag), Swedish lawyer and author Malin Thunberg Schunke (who lives in Hanover and Sardinia, among other places) completely reinterprets the Swedish crime novel. Together with her translator Stefanie Werner, she will talk about new European perspectives and writing beyond all clichés.
