Welcome to the Unsicht-BAR!
Here, dream and reality blur in the feverish loss of control of unbridled love mania. In the intoxication of substances, under the spell of music, human idiosyncrasies are dealt with humorously. It is precisely in their vulnerability that the characters from A Midsummer Night's Dream elicit laughter from the audience time and again.
But the strobe light casts harsh shadows - while the club pulsates with curious encounters, the fight for survival rages outside. Under the direction of Hans Schernthaner, the stage becomes a scene of excess, abuse of power and devastating misunderstandings.
Shakespeare's characters once again step into the light and renegotiate their fate: will they manage to free themselves from the social expectations that weigh on them this time?
