When 90 percent of Icelandic women walked off the job and out of their homes on an autumn morning in 1975, refusing to work, cook or look after the children, they brought their country to a standstill and catapulted Iceland to the "best place in the world to be a woman". Narrated for the first time by the women themselves and featuring playful animation, the film shows the collective power of women to change society and reimagine the possible.

To the left of the Filmhaus in the parking lot is the Headphones Open Air Cinema!

In case of rain, the screening will take place indoors in the Filmhaus cinema at 9 pm.
