"Ein Tunnelbuch – was ist das?" - Workshop für Kinder

In the organizer's words:

A tunnel book is a peep-box picture that is pulled apart in several layers like an accordion and shows a view into the depths or distance. In this workshop, you will build a self-folded and glued tunnel book and invent your own little story to stage in it.

Working in small teams, we will experiment with the foreground, middle ground and background and freely draw the elements of the story, figures and scenery. They are then cut out and glued onto the picture planes; painted figures can also be glued to sticks to guide them.

In this way, we assemble the pictures as if they were a stage. If you like, you can bring copies of photos of yourself or your favorite comic figure to cut out. There are no limits to the imagination.
