Welcome to a wintry experience for the whole family!
Once upon a time, on a frosty Christmas Eve at the Silberhaus family home, young Marie received a beautiful nutcracker as a present. During the night, the nutcracker came to life and led her through a magical world full of fantasy.
Together, Marie and the nutcracker experience an adventure full of wonder and danger through the wintry fir forest to the realm of sweets. It is a story of courage, friendship and the power of imagination that touches the hearts of the audience.
The fairy-tale plot of this ballet transports the audience to a magical realm where goodness and beauty reign and romance is in the air. The wonderful splendor of the set and costumes, the music and the dance complete the wonderful atmosphere.
The Grand Ukrainian Ballet
In the Dance of the Snowflakes, the ensemble choreographs the dancing snowflakes, which whirl across the stage until they create a magical flurry of snow. They shine with beauty and grace as they embody the wintry mood and the cold of the magical land.
Acrobatics and exotic dances complement the story and add a touch of mysticism to the already fantastic tale of The Nutcracker.
The dances of the ballet "The Nutcracker" and the talent of the dancers are a feast for the eyes that no one should miss.
The story of the Nutcracker
The Nutcracker became a symbol of the festive season all over the world thanks to the fairy tales of E.T.A. Hoffmann, in particular the story "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King". This story inspired the composer Pyotr I. Tchaikovsky to write his famous ballet "The Nutcracker", which is still an integral part of the Christmas tradition in many countries today.
Young Marie's journey through the magic kingdom and her adventure with the Nutcracker combines the magic of the holidays with the beauty of dance and music for the whole family.
