The Young Literature Forum Hessen-Thuringia is no longer so young. It was launched in 1984 on the initiative of the Hessian Ministry of Science and Art. Since 1991, the state of Thuringia has also been involved in the competition.
For the first time, we are opening Wartburg Castle for the literary competition as part of the Young May Festival. Young people between the ages of 16 and 25 were able to submit prose texts and poems. These will be given a scenic voice on the Wartburg stage and ten young authors will then be awarded prizes.
"Just this and not that. Everything stands or falls with a word. That's what writing is all about. We want you to fight - for every word! Show us what's in your text."
The Young Literature Forum Hessen-Thuringia is a cooperation between: the Hessian Ministry of Science and Art of the Thuringian State Chancellery, the Thuringian Cultural Foundation, the Hessian Literature Forum in the Mousonturm e.V.
