Knitting workshop for beginners.
It's never too late to start knitting!
On 4 dates you will learn the basics of knitting step by step. We will knit simple patterns with knit and purl stitches. This sampler will become a scarf and we can knit matching cuffs or a headband.
The workshop is only suitable for beginners, basic knitting skills are not required!
The knitting ABC for beginners!
- A little material knowledge
- cast on
- knitting on the right
- purl knitting
- Pattern of knit and purl stitches, stockinette, garter stitch, pearl pattern, rib ...
- edge stitches
- Cast off
Please bring along:
Please bring some thicker wool and knitting needles to the first session. The needle size is indicated on the yarn label. Please choose a needle size of 4.5 to 5 and correspondingly thick wool. The material should be comfortable for you, I prefer natural yarns. If you have any questions, you can make a note when you register and I will be happy to call you.
The workshop takes place 4 times on Tuesdays from 5 to 7 pm.
