In the organizer's words:

In this course you will gain your first woodturning experience or refresh your knowledge.

You will first learn about the individual components of the woodturning lathe and their functions, and safety rules will be discussed. We will then familiarize you with the different woodturning knives and how to use them on the workpiece.

Now you can start by making a straight cylinder from a piece of squared timber. You will then make concave, convex and cylindrical cut-outs from this practice piece.

Once you have mastered the cuts you have learned, we will move on to the goal of this workshop. You will now turn your own ballpoint pen and pencil.
