Professionalism is a tricky thing. It is repeatedly demanded of young theatre-makers without it being clear what characterizes a competent performance. In"Einmal mit Profis arbeiten", Hanni&Anni put themselves to the test as up-and-coming artists when they show off their hidden talents and challenge expectations of professionalism both inside and outside the theater. They reveal how body and gender images are linked to certain ideas of ability, empowerment and amateurism - and will do everything they can to fail professionally together.

Hanni&Anni stands for a discursive pop performance theater that makes entertainment with artistic aspirations and uses small means to conjure up the great fantasies waiting behind the curtains of this world. The group is interested in the staging of technology and the relationship between work and recognition in the theater. In addition to a critical look at the construction of gender and power structures, humor, pathos and camp play an important role in the group's productions in order to enable participation and provide access for different audiences. For "Einmal mit Profis arbeiten", Hanni&Anni is working together with Gil Hoz-Klemme and Laura Zielinski.
